El Blanquito es un afluente que nace en el parque nacional Yacambu, estado Lara Venezuela, es agua pura y muy fría, recorre 3.750Km hasta desembocar sus aguas cristalinas y puras en el Oceano Atlantico, llegar hasta este afluente es muy divertido, pues tienes que atravesar una selva muy densa y húmeda, llena de arboles gigantes y un sin fin de aves que cantan sin cesar todo el día, también se encuentra la serpiente Mapanare muy venenosa, solo hay que ver muy bien para no molestarla si te la encuentras en el camino, pero el paseo hasta esta bella cascada vale la pena y por supuesto no hay que dejar de meterse bajo sus aguas..
