The municipality of the Cuban capital called Centro Habana is one of the most overcrowded in the whole country. It has also been historically a commercial center for its gigantic concentration of small and also large stores of all kinds. It's not characterized by the best hygiene nor the best construction status of its buildings, but it still has the architectural richness that's typical of Cuba. The abundance of antique cars is also part of its hallmark. Likewise, its people are as Cubans traditionally are, humble and supportive people capable of helping anyone in need. Below each photo that I'm sharing today I'll be telling you what place is exactly. Enjoy!

Neptuno street is not only one super overcrowded road, but's also the one that connects Centro Habana municipality with others like Old Havana and Vedado neighborhood.
Zanja street is another Centro Habana road full of people at all hours. It goes through the Chinese neighborhood as can be seen to the left side.

San Lazaro street is one of the most damaged roads due to its proximity to the north coast, in addition to hundreds of years without repairs or new constructions.

Monte Street is probably the longest of them all as it runs through three municipalities.

"Promise-payers" can often be seen walking barefoot. These are believers of certain religions whose saints are asked for some favor and in return they make some sacrifice to pay for it.
