This little guy has been beaten up pretty badly ever since I got them whilst dad purchase his set of tires. The guy from the tire shop gave this to me as a souvenir .
It had stopped working for awhile. The spoiler was broken during a battle when I use it to challenge my friend at a table length stop to go to stop. My car was too heavy, it slower to pickup and too late on braking, as a result it falls and broke the spoiler.
After open open up the battery cover, to found out those AG13 battery were rotten and started leaking.
Cleaning it up with cotton bud and alcohol. These electronics are very sensitive, especially after battery leak, they usually will corrode the contact point. Better clean it thoroughly before putting in new batteries.
I do not have a reflector to stick on the side mirror anymore. As I remember, this car came stock without the "mirror" there. Got this touch up with daddy's touch up paint for his car.
The front windshield is stuck with glue from those stickers. Dad taught me to use some motor oil to scrub it.
And it does help! But now the whole table are oily as I accidentally spilled some of those oil.
Time to get these new batteries into the car.
Do take note, to be sure you align these batteries at the correct manner, or else it may cause short circuit to the module.
Headlights, checked!
Tail lights, checked! Note that spoiler has been ripped off from the car. Looks cleaner rather than half a spoiler dangling around.
Thank you for reading. I have made a video of the car in action.
