Trying to figure out the answer to "who am I?" has always been a source of mental anguish for me. I've been here for a while trying to think of a good, all-encompassing way to introduce myself. This makes me question whether or not I truly know who I am... Naah! Here's to formally announcing myself, as I am well aware of my own existence.

Having been born and raised in Nigeria, I am Andrew Martine. One of four children, I'm the youngest and only boy. Because of my reserved personality and the impression I give off of being arrogant (which, trust me, I'm not), I'm often the odd one out in my family, especially in the eyes of my mother. I am trilingual (Ibibio, English, and a smattering of igbo). I am a final-year student in urban and regional planning who has been unable to graduate because to the conflict between the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) and the Federal government of Nigeria (Federal).

I'm also interested in the media and urban planning (I do live streaming in church). I have a background in video editing and enjoy motion graphics, giving speeches, and creating creative pieces. I have an insatiable appetite for political drama and can get lost for hours dissecting the nuances of effective leadership.

The extraordinary fascinates me, and I often find myself asking questions that seem on the verge of the impossible (which may explain my haughty demeanor). Maybe that's why I've devoured so many of Dan Brown's works. Marie Corelli is another favorite of mine because of the sensual ways in which she employs language while conveying profound and fascinating insights.

I identify as a Christian, yet I reject the principles of religious capitalism that permeate today's churches. Personal faith in God, rather than blind acceptance of what one's pastor says, is what I think everyone should strive for. An eternally defiant nonconformist who flourishes amid adversity (right, I'm starting to sound conceited). I've had others say they want to be like me (lol, me that hasn't figured anything out yet) and it motivates me to keep trying to figure out who I am and where my talents fit best. Just take things one day at a time, and I promise you, everything will fall into place.

Okay, enough of the heavy stuff; I can also be a jovial fellow (particularly when I'm not too comfortable in my space), and I spend most of my time listening to music, good music, be it hip-hop, R&B, highlife, pop, or any genre that can both soothe my nerves and inspire me, depending on my mood at the time (though I can't sing to save my life). I have an unresolved feud with Jay Z because he stole Beyoncé from me, or not (well, that's just how I feel sometimes), but here's a little secret: I have a huge crush on Beyoncé.

Where did I first learn about Hive?

Through a friend's social media handle and a post on his blog that caught my eye, I discovered this fantastic endeavor. Finally, I gave in and signed up. I don't consider myself an expert in the crypto industry, but I do want to do what I can to help this community and ecosystem thrive.

Despite the fact that I am typically an introvert, I would like nothing more than to find a place here and a reason to contribute. I have faith that I will be met with an exciting and fruitful welcome.
