I believe that one never forgets a person, no matter what things happened or why they ended. The human being under these particular circumstances of grief or, better said, break up. We tend to seek refuge in alcohol, cigarettes, crying, and keep looking for someone new to be able to "forget". I believe that by not even buying a round-trip ticket, you can forget someone. Maybe, other people win, and after many years they get over it, but this time for me, no. I feel an immense rage and I do not want to forget. I think a tremendous rage and it does not allow me to open up in the love area, no matter how much I would like to or go with the flow. I believe that self-love is the first step to moving forward and how hard it is to say this for myself.

When you realize that the relationship becomes a habit or even worse, what we call emotional dependence, it is very hard to get out of it, because first, in my case, I idealized a person who does not really exist and how much it hurts to collide with the reality that you created an idea that never was and never will be. I think many of us fall in that tightrope, bad there.

It is that Every day I confirm more and more that there are no longer women or men happily corresponding in a dating relationship, there are only damaged people in the world. An indelible mark and that it costs a lot to get out of the damage that has happened to finally get that someone who would give everything for you, as well as you would give for him/her. I believe that we live in a society where it is better to be cold and show less than to give everything for nothing but for each other. Tell me, how do you get over someone, who you thought for sure you were going to be together for the rest of your life and planning a future together when the other person is deciding not to continue anymore? How do you end up with that pain in your chest? You give so much in a relationship, you are the one holding the relationship together so it doesn't fall apart, and forcing something to happen is one of the worst things you can do or go through with someone. Love is not begged for under any circumstances, it is not asked for or begged for. How hard it was for me to understand this in the end, to realize that I was in a wasted two-year relationship.

Wasted, how ugly that word sounds, when you felt at the time nice and real feelings with the "ideal" person but, I say wasted because I never felt something secure, something stable, in every sense of the word. To be able to last beyond and form something together in the future. There never was. It is that two years sounds nice, but when it is you, only, the one who sustains the relationship you give everything for lost or at least that's how I think and feel. It is exhausting to give everything of yourself, to do things right for the first time only to have it not work out in the end. I understand that everyone has plans for the future and thinks of themselves but damn it, why not clarify from the beginning that you wanted something temporary and not lasting, in a state where you do not know what you want. For experiencing feelings that maybe were real in the beginning but then you will turn it into exploitation. How many souls there are in the world with emptiness and damage to end up infecting the same with the other person you are with who is completely sure in choosing you always? And the worst of all is that someone may come to want to give everything for you and you have this constant fear that the same thing will happen, that they will take advantage of you because you feel vulnerable for having gone through a relationship like this and that they will hurt you again. It is that thought that will make me for the first time completely close myself off to someone and I think it will be very hard for me to start a relationship as easy as many do.

I no longer believe that real, healthy, beautiful, and reciprocated love exists. I see it now as a waste of time, something ridiculous and useless. Right now, I just want to focus on my goals and not waste my time with someone else.

Everything ended and I would like to see it as a learning experience, like everything in this life, right? In this life, I suppose one came more to learn than to suffer.
