As I was telling you a few days ago, I was in an event with some friends and every night we had theme parties with different dress codes, the third night was "tropical chic" when we designed the document of the event, we painted this as a night of light colours and soft fabrics but without leaving aside the formality, the girls were asked to wear long dresses or trousers and the boys could not wear shorts or sandals.
I had already planned to wear white and my mum went a bit ahead of me and bought me this dress and it has a funny story because she bought a dress like 4XL that almost turned me inside out and we had to alter it, but in the end it turned out quite well. I paired it with this chunky necklace to give more formality to the outfit because it was quite simple and for the same reason I wore red lips, I only wore heels to the event, so I repeated the espadrilles.
One of the best things about this event is that everyone committed to the dress-code, both women and men, we all looked great, as you can see in the group photos attached to the post.
