Una de las actividades que se pueden realizar cuando se va a San Sebastian en el País Vasco, España es recorrer su costa y visitar diferentes puntos como el Faro de la Plata. Durante el trayecto hacía el faro nos encontramos con este fuerte ubicado en una de las colinas de nombre 'El Almirante'.
Este fuerte del siglo XVII cumplió su función militar y de defensa en su momento pero desafortunadamente actualmente está abandonado y sus instalaciones están cubiertas totalmente por vegetación.
One of the activities you can do when you go to San Sebastian in the Basque Country, Spain is visit different points such as the Faro de la Plata. On the way to the lighthouse we found this fort located in one of the hills named 'El Almirante'.
The fort is from the 17th century and fulfilled its military and defense function at the time but unfortunately it is currently abandoned and its facilities are totally covered by vegetation.
