I have given a long hard thought about what the 4th of July means to us as a nation. The constitution wasn't actually signed until September of that year. Some point the anniversary got moved to July. It was bbq, salads, hot dogs, hamburgers, and ice cream. Then the fireworks. Yes, another holiday exploited so the capitalist pigs can get fat and wealthy. The idea we think we are celebrating our independence from England is a joke. We are no freer from them then we were two hundred years ago. Do some research and you will find the truth.
We have a journey to find the truth about the holidays we celebrate and what they really mean. I wish I could give the answers, but we must all find them on our own. However, I will share resources and encourage intelligent conversations.
