I went to New Orleans, LA at the end of June for the Libertarian National Convention. I was ballin' on a budget so I stayed at City House Hostel in the French quarter. It was really a nice and very affordable place to stay. Nestled inside a walled-off second story portion of a parking garage, it didn't look like much from the outside.
I took this picture late on July 2nd walking back from the convention with my iPhone 7. This is actually the exterior of the hostel. Many streets in NOLA, particularly in the French Quarter, look like alleys. The city certainly had it's own unique beauty though. The ambient lighting was especially surreal.
