Just some few hours ago we had the First Curation Party. With a couple people glued to their PC and mobile devices to engage and interact with each other on discord.
What is this Curation Party about?
This is a feast but not a feast where we come for food and drinks but here you come along with your post and your voice to tell us something about your most recent post;

Well we all can attest to the fact that we have lots of such events all over on discord and as a local community we need to have one to help all newbies and also use it as a means for others to admire and critique what others are doing, provide them some good comments, recommendations and suggestions as well.
@steem4depoor began the session with his post about how he believes being a salary worker enslaves and kills our desire and ambition to be our own boss. Well, as we all cannot become entrepreneurs, some people have really lost the opportunity and always regret such decisions they made in the past. I'm glad he has realized it at this tender age and so happy that it dawned on him during our meetup.
He got lots of feedback on this post. He has to paragraph or separate line breaks and not put all bulky and in large chunks and also the need to work it gradually before he finally leaves his former job which doesn't give much but better than staying at home.
A great initiative by our brother @sircharles, was made known to us where he and a couple friends embarked on a recent health screening exercise for Effiakuma, a town in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan with primarily the market women in mind. These are some of the initiatives steemit can help really eradicate poverty and bring about free and accessible health-care services to all people

@emmanueloppong brought us updates on an ongoing project to establish a steemit office to local steemians to have a common location or office, a shared internet resources, a place to rent cameras, projectors etc at affordable prices for events and others.
This project is eventually taking shape and going to lift off soon
@ehmkannde made a post inciting everyone to promote steemit in every way they can, like using Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. He has personally resolved to promote steemit by wearing steemit on him where ever he goes.
Its actually beautiful to see people in their steemit shirt all around. I experienced that during our meet up
@josyextrao, a lawyer by profession, takes us through how he goes about her day. I see her passion for her job through the post and I really like that.
@desmond41 showed off his photoshop skills, where he turned his dad into a cartoon....lol
Some said they would never do that to their dad, but I think his dad would even commend him.
