I think we are all incredibly happy because the Christmas spirit is everywhere. Taking advantage of this time, I want to show you a beautiful project I made with lots of love: cute fabric strawberries, super easy to make. - Fabric scraps (fuchsia and green)
- A small round lid.
- A marker.
- Needle and thread.
- Stuffing.
- Glue (optional).
Friends, let's begin making it. We're going to take a small round lid and place it on the fabric, trace around it, and cut out a circle.
Once we have the circle, we proceed to divide it in half. We cut it out to obtain two equal pieces.
We fold it, and with a needle and a little thread, we sew to join and thus close this piece.
Once we have finished sewing, we turn it over on the right side of the fabric and it ends up looking like cones.
It's time to fill our cone, so we take some stuffing for plush toys or scraps of fabric. We insert it and, using a needle and thread, we pass it around the edge, gather it, and close the seam.
Once we've finished sewing the strawberry, we'll make the stem. On a piece of paper, draw a star with slightly pointed ends and place this small pattern on the green fabric, securing it with pins. Cut along the outline with scissors. Finally, glue the pieces to the top of the strawberry using a little hot glue.
To make the cords, cut a strip of green fabric, fold it, and sew it with a straight stitch. To attach them to the strawberry, cut a couple of small circles and make a slit in the center of each. Thread the cord through these circles and secure it well with a dab of silicone or any other fabric adhesive.
This is the final result: some cute fabric strawberries that you can easily make at home with those little scraps of fabric you have lying around. I hope you like them and that you can make some just like them and find them very useful.
