Raising a child alone is not an option, it is a difficult decision that must be faced on the road of life, a decision that is made with love because there is not and will not be any better reward than the love of children. Being a single mother makes you a warrior, a fighter, a superpower, a hero, but these titles do not take away the tenderness of being a loving and docile mother, your strength and your love shine at the same time within you. "I am a single mother".

Criar a un hijo sola no es una opción, es una difícil decisión que se debe afrontar en el camino de la vida, una decisión que se toma con amor porque no hay ni habrá mejor recompensa que el amor de los hijos. Ser madre soltera te hace guerrera, luchadora, súper poderosa, heroína, pero estos títulos no te quitan la ternura de ser una madre amorosa y dócil, tu fortaleza y tu amor brillan al mismo tiempo dentro de ti.“Yo soy madre soltera”.

They are my reason to follow and I try to be better for them every day, there are days when I think I need support but then they embrace me and fill me with strength and fortitude to keep going. My life wasn't easy, because I wasn't oriented I got pregnant at 15, but here we are. Their father left us to go to another family but this did not stop me from working hard for them.

Son mi motivo a seguir y trato de ser mejor cada día para ellas, hay días en los que creo que necesito apoyo pero luego me abrazan y me llenan de fuerza y fortaleza para seguir adelante. Mi vida no fue fácil, por no estar orientada quede embarazada a mis 15 años, pero aquí estamos. Su padre nos abandonó para irse con otra familia pero esto no me detuvo a trabajar duro por ellas.

As I watched them grow up I realized that God had given me a blessing and I wanted them to be proud of their mother and I decided to study a career. Today I have a degree in Early Education, I feel like a fulfilled woman who is able to overcome every test that life throws at me.

Al verlas crecer me di cuenta que Dios me había reglado una bendición y quería que se sintieran orgullosa de su madre y decidí estudiar una carrera. Hoy en día soy Licenciada en Educación Inicial, me siento una mujer realizada y capaz de superar cada prueba que me ponga la vida.

When you are told you are going to be a mother every fiber in your body quivers, the most important person in your life is forming inside you. For the first time you know true love, that unconditional and unique love that nothing and nobody can destroy and that is stronger than any storm.
