Yeah, I am that type of woman, as my friend said, with the integrated male chip. So, while some women normally iron the clothes, I "normally" iron the shelves. 😜😁
The thing is that last August (2020), I decided to rearrange and renew my kitchen. One of the first things on my to-do list was that crazy corner-kitchen cabinet. It had only one shelf and because of that lots of waste space.
I decided to add one or two more shelves. In the local store, I bought the boards which they cut for me to the desired dimension, and in an unusual triangular shape.
The problem was that the edges of the shelves, after cutting, remained crude. Therefore, I bought some sort of veneer tape. This veneer tape, on one side, has a coating of hardened glue which should be melted on the heat so it can be stuck to the wanted surface.
And here I am, surrounded by clutter (as I emptied the whole kitchen and put everything in the living room), ironing my shelves to stick this veneer tape on the shelves' crude edges.
My husband grabbed my cellphone and took this photo saying he has to show it to the kids. He said, "You are really something! I know our kids know that you're crazy, capable of anything and everything, but I have to show them this!" 😁
I don't know why, but this whole thing reminds me of Rod Stewart's song "Some Guys Have All The Luck." 😎
Some guys have all the luck
Some guys have all the pain
Some guys get all the breaks
Some guys do nothing but complain
