“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.” (John 3:1-2 KJV)
Nicodemus made a very powerful statement about Jesus that I want us to consider very seriously. He said to Jesus that no man could do the things that He did except God was with such a person.
This means that you too can do great things if God is with you.
The presence of God in the life of a man is the secret of mighty and great things in life. If you pursue the presence of God, you will inevitably encounter great and mighty things in your life without number.
Hear what the Bible has to say about Jesus in another portion of the scriptures:
“How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10:38 KJV)
The bottom line was that God was with Him, and that was the reason for the good works His life was marked with. You too can do great things.
