I found these recycled seed starting cardboard guys on sale last year. Seems like it will be easy to just plant the entire square where the sprout is right into the dirt.
I start by filling up the trays all the way, then i use the bottom of one to compact the soil as much as I can. This helps it retain moisture, and also allows for more roots. After I compact the soil, i add my seeds, then I cover the rest up with more soil and water them up real good. I have no clear cover for these guys, so I will have to keep a close eye on them so they don't dry out.
