•HARDENED HEART•
Then your hearts became hardened after that, being like stones or even harder. For indeed, there are stones from which rivers burst forth, and there are some of them that split open and water comes out, and there are some of them that fall down for fear of Allah . And Allah is not unaware of what you do.

Stones are better than a hardened heart. Out of a stone emerges life sustaining springs. They often get cracked and due to fear of Allah Almighty stones often fall and move from their places but what a hardened heart does? 🥀
A hardened heart closes the door of knowledge to it. It just keeps on confirming its own beliefs. It won't believe whatever you'll bring in front of it as a proof. It's inclined to self-gratification. 🍂
