Transformar es lo que se hace en upcycling. Algo puede parecer inservible, pero podemos darle una nueva vida de uso. Es lo que quise lograr hoy con las presillas de un pantalón viejo.
Transforming is what upcycling is all about. Something may seem useless, but we can give it a new life of use. That's what I wanted to achieve today with the belt loops of an old pair of pants.

Proceso || Process
Elaborar este zarcillo solitario es muy sencillo. Empezamos enhebrando una agua para luego hacer un nudo primero en el aro que se ubicará en el extremo inferior del zarcillo.
Making this solitaire tendril is very simple. We start by threading a water and then make a knot first in the ring that will be located at the lower end of the tendril.
Seguidamente, enrosqué, una a una, las presillas dejando el lado posterior hacia afuera. Y con la aguja las ensarté en el centro.
Then, one by one, I threaded the loops, leaving the back side out. And with the needle I threaded them in the center.
Al tenerlas unidas por el hilo, le amarré en el otro extremo un aro con doble nudo. Y con ayuda de una pinza coloqué el gancho del zarcillo.
Once they were joined by the thread, I tied a double knotted ring at the other end. And with the help of a plier I placed the hook of the tendril.
Para finalizar el diseño, en el aro del extremo inferior, con varias hebras de hilo le amarré una borla, para decorar. Y le añadí un dije.
To finish the design, I tied a tassel on the ring at the lower end with several strands of thread to decorate it. And I added a pendant.
