I still strongly believe in the Institution of marriage, its reputation is still intact and will continue to do so for the betterment of society.

The way it functions, it also keeps the society functioning in somewhat synchronised manner.

I believe that, live in relationship is more about "just about yourself" your interests, your life, your benefits, your advantages, which probably may seem little selfish, when it comes to giving back to the society.

The whole ecosystem depends upon what we can give back to the society, that can keep the whole system functioning properly.
