The Raya Island has several springs and a small stream, on the North side in the Lhok Siron area there are swampy areas of approximately several hundred square meters. The wide sand beaches generally exist on the North side, while on the southern side of the Raya Island is almost entirely a steep coral wall.
The surface contour of the island extends from West to East it rises to the South and slopes on its northern side. So the settlement is on the north side of the flat island at the foot of the hill. The hills behind the township also saved some residents of the island when the tsunami swept through their village. Most of the surface of the island is covered with hardwood plants, shrubs, shrubs, coconut palms and areca nut.
