This is the first day of our weekly showcase where we highlight posts in this community that were shared here in the last seven day. These are the posts that have impressed us at COM the most.

It hasn't been 10 days since @baby.magic joined Hive. His posts are written in a stand-up comedy-ish style and delivery that I bet would come out much better face to face or with him on stage. He picks very specific things, rarely spoken about phenomena, and focuses on them to create comedy. This is a trait you often find in great comedians.
Remember, he is new. Make sure to welcome him into the COMmunity and Hive in general.
She has been a breath of fresh air ever since her first post in the community. In the post below, @zyzymena talks about her lovable but also extremely protective mother. Protective to an almost cartoonish level that she "can beat you to the point of collapsing". To be honest, I am partially featuring @zyzymena in the first showcase because I am afraid if I don't then her mother would beat me up, Madea style
From one member talking about their mother, we have one talking about her daughter. @lifeoflade is a proud mother of a cute, self-assertive daughter with whom she has a lot of joyful and funny times. Or should I say "MARVELOUS"? I have no doubt will be learning a lot of things quickly growing up.
Another community newbie, @mrprofessor took a break from backpacking travel to tell us the 10 golden rules to being a brokepacker on the road before he thought of an 11th one to add while writing the post. I am pretty sure by the time you get to his post, he will be at his 27th rule. I am glad @mrprofessor joined us here and he started with a funny yet informative post.
After taking a break from attempting to sell the icicles in his backyard as seasoned weapons, @insaneworks explained, in a funny way, how people overexaggerate regular news and treat everything as "BREAKING NEWS". His post comes with amazing photography as a bonus.
