While in Steem and Hive we consider bots as an ugly phenomenon, we should remember that bots are already controling the network.
Google, facebooks, these are bots. And bots today are so complex and expensive that only organizations can afford them. And the organizations use them to get powerful while individuals serve these monsterous bots.
Individuals deserve to get served by bots and not the otherway around.
In decentralized creatures like Hive, individuals use bots. That is a good thing.
