Love lock is a lock pinned by lovers on a bridge or fence or gate or the like, as a symbol of their love. Usually the names of loved ones or their names are engraved on the lock and the key is thrown away to symbolize eternal love. Since the 2000 decade, love locks have spread in an increasing number of locations around the world. Municipal authorities often lock love in rubbish or destruction, removing it is expensive. But some authorities adopted it, including the use of this phenomenon in the collection of donations for projects or tourist attractions.
