ME, MY LONELINESS AND THE RESERVOIR

Water bodies always fascinates me. Its calm, quite, pure and natural. It is the lifeline to million souls including floras & faunas.

Whenever I feel dull and lonely, I heads toward Hirakud reservoir, of Hirakud Dam, Sambalpur that is built on Mahanadi river. This reservoir is one of the largest reservoir in the world. And one of the engineering marvel since its construction during 1950's. It is so huge and voluminous that its looks not lesser than a ocean.

View during the sunrise and the sunset are stupendous, breath taking and equally refreshing.

I am the frequent observer of its sunrise and sunset.

I can always realise whenever I am close to this reservoir its fill the gaps to my loneliness and always completes me from within.
