By way of the sword
we spread democracy.
Our peaceful country
so full of hypocrisy.
We're destroying regimes
in foreign lands.
Our government's deeds
leave blood on our hands.
The Christian culture,
that major force,
applauds the killing,
seemingly, without remorse.
Our government’s wars
are a source of pride.
The Christian believes
that God's on our side!
They pray for our troops
in those divers places.
Their love for our enemies?
You'll find no traces.
In the Bible it says
use His name not in vain.
And that, my friend,
is a Christian bane!
They tell us they have
such heavenly ambitions,
but they pray to a God
who no longer listens.
They've hardened their hearts.
It's why God no longer hears.
He IS fulfilling
their most dreadful fears.
