Today, I can proudly call this beautiful space my own. It's been a long time coming and yes I'm super excited.
I'd be launching my new space very soon and I only can't help but reflect on how far I've come.
I recall how I built this dream from my living room few years ago. I had one little spot where I created specifically for posting my works. I'd receive clients at my balcony or virtually and ensured I delivered their outfit.
Later I moved into a very small room, there I had just one mannequin which I named June because I bought in the month of June.
As time went by, I got another mannequin and named it Luna. And I got a dress form which I named Blue.I intentionally gave them name so I can differentiate it. I also got a baby mannequin where can I display clothes for kids and I was still daring to dream big.
After graduating from school, I kept saving so I can afford a space that's a little bit bigger than my space.
I also knew that packaging does more to a brand, aside from investing in my skill, I also invested in my space. I got window blinds, found a tiler to give the floor a more polished look, got a painter to paint the room and then I still kept dreaming.
I got a standing fan, a semi industrial machine in addition to the manual machine I already have.
I'm yet to get an industrial interlocking machine and industrial sewing machine. I can't wait to own them too, although they are quite expensive but according to this song I shared, I'm inspired to believe because miracles happen when we believe.
I'm so proud of how far I've come, I might not be where I want to be, but in definitely not where I used to be.
I've been away from Give for a moment to focus on the artisans doing my job, so they do a very clean job. It's means a lot honestly. Running around and still making client's order.
I visited a mall to get this aestehcially pleasing flower but it was way above my budget. I'll still check in other maols to see the price difference.
When you believe - Whitney Houston ft Marie Carie
This is such a powerful song and I resonate with the lyrics. Keep believing that things will work out for good. Miracles still happens and yours is on the way too.
