Few weeks ago i blogged about decluttering and how one can earn an extra income through it. Today i decided to declutter my old washing machine that i have not used for two years.
It was an LG product and i have used it for five years if not more. One thing about LG washing machines is the problem on the buttons. Mine was the play button and it's really frustrating having to take it for repair over and over again. Well i got tired and stopped using it and ofcourse it have been lying ideal in the house for two years.
Today i decided to sell it and use my space for something more productive. There are people who specializes in the business of buying declutters and i quickly put a call to them. They came running for business. We stared bargaining on the price and it was really a hard one. They themselves want to buy at a very cheap price so that they can't make a lot of profit and i wasn't ready to part with my washing machine in exchange for a peanut.
I told them the price i can give it to them at and believe me it's almost as if i was dashing it for free. They refused and left but i wasn't bothered. I know that i can always get other people who will give me a good price for it. Well long story short they returned back after fifteen minutes and asked for my account number. There was a delay with the money transfer and i told them to come back in the evening as i was almost late for my appointment. Just when i was about going home after my appointment, there came a heavy downpour. I have to wait for the rain to stop before going home.
When i got home they were still waiting for me at the security house. They have withdrawn the money from the atm and so they gave me the cash. They took their new property.
