I had just started my online business and was eager to take the business to the next level.
Everymorning i post pictures of bags, clothes and shoes on Instagram and Facebook to attract buyers.
At first business wasn't that good but with time i started recording three or fours sales a day. My business model was easy, i have the contacts of the people that sales these things in the market, they send the pictures to my whatapp and the prices and i repost the pictures in my Instagram accounts with a little profit on top.
It's a good way to start up a business without cash.
So on this fateful day, i was on the street of Facebook when i saw a post where this woman posted many bags for sale. Her prices were so good and i quickly chatted her up that i would like to be posting some of her bags and hopefully if i get a buyer, i would buy from her.
She liked the business proposal and i went to work immediately.
Her bags were so lovely and the prices were good. I added a little profit for myself and posted them in my social media accounts.
In less than five hours i got a lot of people that want to purchase the bag. A friend of mine even made payment immediately and out of excitement i sent the money to the woman and asked that she deliver the bags to my friend.
I was about to make the second payment to the woman when suddenly my instinct told me to asked the woman to deliver to second person and get paid after. She abruptly refused and asked that i send the money before she would deliver. I began to suspect fowl play and i was already scared since i have made the first payment to her. I asked her to deliver the ones that i have paid for before i will continue any other business transaction with her.
She blocked me.
When i found out that she blocked me i cried terribly. I have been hearing of internet scam and it's now at my door step.
I have to refund everyone that made payment for the bag their money with lots of apologies and explanations.
Since then i have been weary of internet vendors.
