To be reborn
I'm not sure I wish to do it again.
My Ego screams
And whispers secrets...
Tells me how I've
Been here too many times
For the stars to even count.
Why must we surrender
After all we've fought to gain?
What shame
What a game
This Cosmic Fate we're bound to.
Was it always the same?
Or did we go wrong?
Have we always been
Misunderstood
And silenced?
They tell me to let go
But they don't understand this mind,
A friend of mine.
Clever in every way
But so distracted by the Light of day
So outraged by this realities ways...
And to think I could fight my way through
When all the time my enemy wasn't you.
This poem can be interpreted I'm sure in many different ways so I leave it up to you.
In the audio, I used Kevin MacLeod's Lightless Dawn.
I am grateful you decided to indulge my muse.
