In contact with nature/ some thoughts

In our region in Venezuela specifically in the Colón Municipality of the Southern Area of Lake Maracaibo there has always been a very hot climate with a high relative humidity which causes you to feel intense heat that is sometimes desperate, added to this in recent months an extreme heat wave has been generated, which causes most of the population to turn on their air conditioners throughout the day, ah, but wait a moment, the electrical outages are also added, which are usually for 4 hours due to the faults in the distribution of which we have been victims for several years, imagine then all elements together how it affects the well-being of each of the citizens who live in this area.

You may wonder if the title of the post talks about the contact of nature because to talk about all the aforementioned elements? well, simply because that situation has led us to carry out several of our daily activities outside our homes in search of a more pleasant climate, in our home we have trees in the front part and in the courtyard we give the name to the back of the house, when the electricity fails during the day, my whole family goes to the part of the courtyard under the tree to do some things of our daily activities such as eating.

I can tell you that it is very pleasant to eat in contact with nature under the shade of a tree, listen to the birds singing, see how the branches sway by the breeze, without a doubt a pleasant micro climate is generated and many thoughts may come to your mind such as how perfect nature is by providing us with living organisms as perfect as plants that grant us multiple benefits such as shade, food, organic matter for the soil among other benefits. In the case of here in the state of Zulia there are many houses with mango plants in their houses, that is to say we have those rich fruits available in a pleasant place that the same tree offers us.

They are organisms so different from us, they produce their own food, in our case we depend on food to be able to obtain the necessary nutrients for growth and development, instead these wonderful organisms take a part of the carbon dioxide from the air which contributes to reduce the excess of this element in the well-known greenhouse effect great cause of these heat waves due to the excessive increase of many gases, apart from taking carbon dioxide, it takes water and nutritional elements that are present in soil. Everything makes it so simple in a process as complex as photosynthesis where many elements are involved that would be the subject of another publication.

Human beings have the facility to become nomads if we wish because we move to where we want that's why sometimes we forget where we came from, that is to say as they say colloquially we forget about our roots, something that is very difficult with plants that where they take root after becoming a tree they will remain there for years until by natural forces or by man it is collapsed. That is why forests are special places where a large number of these trees give a large number of living species an ideal habitat for them to develop.

Then as beings as imperfect as we human beings sometimes attempt against such a perfect nature to satisfy superficial needs, when we are able to analyze everything that biodiversity means and the importance that trees have in our ecosystems we will stop deforesting forests and we will become truly part of natural ecosystems. As thinking beings we can make rational use of ecosystems, if we have studied so much why not plan ecologically each of the activities we do, from there we can start.
