Hello, steemians, and welcome to my page, eh!
I've had this little ditty bouncing around in my head for several days now, and today I wrote it down on paper to remember it. From there it was just a matter of working out all the kinks in it to make it readable and possibly even understandable.
Poetry is not my best talent, but I consider this one to be a cross between poetry and songwriting. It's nothing great, but it does have some flow...
So, without further introduction, I present you with "Frozen Flakes of Doom"
White fluffy flakes of cold frozen doom,
floating gently down from the sky,
as I look out the window of my room,
watching the frozen flakes fly.
I live in a place where the air hurts my face,
and it's cold for 6 months of the year,
where the wind driven snow just keeps coming down,
and it covers up everything here.
Soon, I'll have to get dressed up,
in my warmest coat, gloves, and hat,
I'll have to go find the snow shovel,
and I'm not looking forward to that.
The sidewalk is covered in snowfall,
and it's all so fluffy and white.
I'll get it all moved with great effort,
it will all drift back in before night.
Yes, I live in a snow covered wasteland,
where it's cold for six months of the year,
when it's zero outside, in the house I will hide,
And wait for next spring to appear.
Thanks for stopping by my page and reading my writing, eh!
