I have been here on Hive since May 2021. It makes around eight months of my journey here. Throughout this journey I couldn't maintain the inconsistency in my presence. There were some months when I hardly published three or four posts. I think the maximum number of posts I could publish in a week was four (except the time when I was writing for newbie initiative. At that I think, I could publish maximum five a week. Anyways!!). This is the very first time I received this 馃憞 notification from hive.buzz.

I published every day of the week. It is how my first week of 2022 has gone. It is not just about how 2022 has begun. It is also about how 2021 has ended. Lol. I had actually published for consecutively 10 days since 29th December, and during those 10 days I published more than 10 posts. It never happened before. It's an accomplishment I should appreciate and I am happy about it.

However, I would confess that some of the posts I published during this period were not of the standard I used to make in past. My self- imposed standards have restrained me from writing and publishing many times. I often didn't write on a topic with a fear that I may not reach a healthy word count. Sometimes, I didn't write thinking that this particular thing is not worth writing. At other times, I didn't write on the topics worth writing (as per my thoughts. Lol) because I didn't find enough time to finish them perfectly. This way, most of the time I was not writing

After two months of almost complete absence, I came back with a passion to express whatever. I told myself "The most important thing is expression. Not the wallet. Not the upvotes. Not the reputation. Not the followers. NOT EVEN WHAT OTHERS THINK. Free yourself. The most important thing is to You just need to express yourself."

I wrote and expressed only about my day to day happening. I just wrote to share and express whatever was going on. If I strived for writing awesome posts this time too, I wouldn't have published with consistency.

The struggle for awesomeness is good but we are not always in the very best circumstances. If we only want to come up with polished version, we can appear less often. There is a need to value our raw-self. If we start expressing our rawness with confidence, we would realize how much more potential and attractiveness resides in us. That's what I have been trying to do this time.

I am not sure how long I would go with this mindset. Hehehe. The want for perfectionism keeps on hitting me. I am in a battle with it continuously. I need to combat it if I want to survive and survival is important if I have to thrive.
