That line stands out to me too. Just holding the question with attention and mindfulness, and noticing what shows up in our environment and mindspace. Our unconscious seems to play a huge role here, specifically with how the unconscious can be in service to what we want or what we are attracted to.
A shamanic concept is the 4-foot rule. It's based on the whole idea that if you ate something poisonous out in nature, there's a remedy around you as well. But you have to slow things down and feel, see, listen. Use all our senses and get in our bodies. This is similar to life, where challenges show up yet resources also show up as well, if we pay attention. Simplistic yet symbolically relevant food for thought.
