My name is Arowolo Amazing Grace, from Abuja, a serving corp member in Adamawa, Jada local government.
As a corp member that is posted to a school and schools are on break right now, I decided to make a good use of my time, as time is money you know. So I enroll in a fashion designing skill as I always love fashion and had always wanted to create my own piece and I just want to make very good use of my service year.
I have started for some time and of course I have learn a lot within this my short period of time. So today in the shop we made a couple of dress. And there was this particular design that I had never seen.
I was told to use the industrial machine, but I declined reason been that my boss said that I might sew my hand and trust me I wouldn't wanna go through that pain. So my colleague that had learn tailoring before went there to sew.
And here is my boss, creating a wonderful piece 馃憣
Let me tell you about this day I created a nice piece of short although it wasn't easy for as it was my first time, my boss my me a small material and asked what I would love to sew, and I said short, like short nicker. He drafted it out and cut for me to sew.
Then I started as the upcoming fashion designer I am, I started creating something meaningful, I was super excited because of course I can sew my dreams coming to pass if only I wouldn't stop there but be consistent, wow I created this short and took it home to show my copper friends and guess what 馃槉 somebody collected this short and wear immediately.
I was so happy and why was I, because I see someone wearing what I made with my hands, I know I would have collected it back right but I did not, I just enjoy seeing her wear my piece. Indeed I had a great day and time here.
