A day came when I felt like the black sheep of the group. The silence between conversations felt heavier than usual, and deep inside, I knew some of my actions had hurt people around me. To those I may have stepped on because of my wrong decisions or careless moments, I am truly sorry. Sometimes emotions become stronger than understanding, and I lose the version of myself that I normally try to protect.
Looking at the calm ocean today somehow reflected the opposite of what I felt inside. The place was peaceful, the breeze gentle, and the sky wide and clear, yet my thoughts were restless. I stood there quietly, realizing how easy it is for misunderstandings and mistakes to create distance between people. There are days when I do not fully recognize myself, especially when frustrations, exhaustion, and emotions cloud my mind.
Still, being alone with the sound of the waves reminded me that no season stays forever. Even rough waters eventually become calm again. Maybe today was not about pretending everything was okay, but accepting that I am human and capable of making mistakes. Growth does not always happen during happy moments; sometimes it grows from regret, reflection, and the courage to admit faults.
As I stared at the open sea, I whispered a simple prayer for peace within myself and healing for anyone I may have hurt. Tomorrow is another chance to become softer, wiser, and more understanding. I may have felt like the black sheep today, but I know this is not the final version of who I am becoming.
