What's up, fellow shadowhunters, here I share recent pictures of a visit I made to the plaza to entertain my daughter Amanda for a while. I go at times when there are fewer people to avoid crowds and respect social distancing; it is a preventive measure, in addition to the use of the mask and antibacterial gel.
¿Qué tal, amigos cazadores de sombras?, aquí comparto fotografias recientes de una visita que hice a la plaza para entretener a mi hija Amanda un rato. Asisto en horarios cuando hay menos personas para evitar aglomeraciones y respetar distanciamiento social; es una medida de prevención, además del uso de la mascarilla y el gel antibacterial.
I can tell you with certainty that I knew the reality of the current restrictions in Argentina; however, my daughter wanted to go for a walk to take advantage of the sun and to be able to run with the skateboard. The enthusiasm of knowing that she was going to play in the park overwhelmed my daughter, but when she arrived at the place her face changed.
Les cuento con certeza que conocía la realidad de restricciones actuales en Argentina; sin embargo, mi hija quería pasear para aprovechar el sol y poder correr con el monopatín. El entusiasmo de saber que iba a jugar en el parque a mi hija le desbordada, pero cuando llegó al lugar su rostro cambió.
My daughter Amanda was in a bad mood and sad when she confirmed that the park was closed and that mom was not lying. Seeing the park only frustrated her, so much so that she walked near the gates and laid down, I took advantage of the moment and took pictures of the shadows cast on her, as she told me she was upset and wanted to go back.
Mi hija Amanda se puso de mal humor y triste al confirmar que el parque estaba cerrado y que mamá no mentía. Ver el parque solo la frustró, tanto que caminó cerca de las rejas y se recostó; aproveché el momento y tomé fotografias de las sombras que se proyectaban en ella, mientras me decía que estaba molesta y quería regresar.
Before returning home, we went for crescents at the bakery and along the way I explained to her that it is okay to feel sad and then transform that state into happiness. On the way home, she was happy and with the skateboard she burned off her energy and understood that when mom gives her information about the park she is telling the truth.
Antes de regresar a casa, fuimos por medias lunas en la panadería y durante el camino le expliqué que está bien sentir tristeza para luego transformar ese estado en felicidad. De regreso a casa, estaba contenta y con el monopatín quemó las energías y comprendió que cuando mamá le suministra información sobre el parque dice la verdad.
The shadows I captured are great, lines in order slanting in a long path vertically and horizontally. The shadows resting on my daughter's body changed and created an irregular effect with waves, some spring-like and a large asymmetrical shadow with no shape of Amanda's silhouette on the floor, all in all a game of infinite shadows.
Las sombras que capturé están geniales, líneas en orden inclinadas en un trayecto largo en posición vertical y horizontal. Las sombras posadas en el cuerpo de mi hija cambiaron y crearon un efecto irregular con ondas, algunas parecida a un resorte y una sombra grande asimétrica sin forma de la silueta de Amanda en el piso, en definitiva un juego de sombras infinitas.
