Friends who love animals and pets in particular, I invite you to enjoy the brief story of Pepa. A cat that appeared as the last option to save the merchandise of a distributor's warehouse.
Pepa arrived at Galpón Flores, located on Varela Bilbao Street in Argentina, to help the owner protect the store's merchandise that was being attacked by rats. Every morning the owner and the employees discovered the remains of black and green olive pits; the rats broke the spout of the water dispenser, ate the puff pastry fats and the flour sacks had holes in them; in short, rats damage any food business.
The owner hired different companies to exterminate the rodents without success, so one day a friend gave him a cat to control the threat. The result was satisfactory, the feline scared off the rodents, became a cunning hunter and the mascot of the shed.
The employees, almost all men, took a liking to the cat and named her Pepa because of her beautiful eyes. The days passed and Pepa gained the trust of the owner and the employees, to the point that they let her come into the offices and climb on the legs of those who pamper her. Pepa brings a smile to the faces of these hard-working men and they are benevolent, as she is not reprimanded for the damage caused to personal belongings..
Pepa the cat sleeps in the shed protecting the merchandise, she has a space to eat, drink water and relieve herself. In the mornings she meows enthusiastically to welcome the workers.
None of the employees know the cat's breed, but that doesn't matter to them, because she is everyone's pet. Pepa fulfilled her duty of disappearing the rats and especially knew how to capture the hearts of the company's employees, because she captivated with her tenderness, mischievousness, character and companionship the life of the team with whom she works.
