Hello dear friends of Steemit, we continue with regional tourism, today I want to share with you one of my favorite places par excellence is called Mesa de Aura and is located in Táchira (the best state of my Venezuela), this small area is called the paradise of flowers you can imagine why. It is located on the edge of the Trasandina road which leads to the great Páramo "El Zumbador", it is a wonderful destination full of natural attractions, with magnificent mountains around it and a rather peculiar climate (it is quite cold).
Floriculture is the main source of income for this place. Many types of flowers are cultivated, this gives a peculiar characteristic to the area impregnated with pure scents and the fragrances that they give off. When you go around the place you can see large tracts of land full of flowers and their colorful colors, also giving a touristic character to the place. The main crops that we can appreciate are:
- Roses
- Claveles
- Sunflowers
- Calas
- Lilies
- Astromelias
- Pompom
I must confess to friends that every time I'm stuck in everyday stress I give myself a little trip to the place. Since besides being a place of extraordinary beauty you can also find the typical Andean food (rice cakes and masato), combined with a tasty strawberry with cream (a fabulous sweet of the region).
