Thursday is one of my running days, so following my first shift work, I headed out the door to pound my local route.
I decided to do a shorter route today but put a bit more effort into it. Not really what you would call a speed session, just a little quicker than my accustomed zone 2 plod that I've been doing for most of the year.
I ended up doing 9.5km at a pace of 5:20 ish per km. Certainly, nothing spectacular, but a bit quicker than normal, and I can feel the extra effort now.
Today's picture isn't from my route for a change. It's of a corner of Twerton cemetery in Bath.
Thank you for reading, and I'll be back tomorrow
