As I've received more and more comments for my post I have noticed that there are quite a bunch of spammers out there. And as I search through content and blogs I see a lot of really irrelevant blog post. I also notice a lot of people frustrated that they aren't getting as upvotes as they think they should get. I guess my question to these guys are "Why are you on DTube & Steemit in the first place?"
Are you here because it's an exciting and revolutionary platform that has an ability to change the way we communicate and the way information is shared + the way funds are distributed throughout a community? Or are you here to make a quick buck? Because if you're just focused on the quick buck, you will burn out, you will complain, you will see the negatives and it'll get harder and harder to actually get up and produce some good blogs or vlogs.
When you believe in something, it shows in your writing and in your videos. When you're doing it because you just want to make a quick dollar, then that shows as well. As I said in the beginning of the video, I'm not saying that those are true dichotomies. I believe they can co-exist at the same time. You can be passionate about the platform and produce good content and hence get rewarded for it, however I do believe that the passion comes before the dollars - almost like anything else in life.
