Entering a VR porter fundamentals program to test weapons, I attempted the Covert Action 1 stealth trial. After an initial failure due to rushing, patience secured a successful run I moved to Covert Action 2, attempted to clear enemies using a silenced handgun repeatedly failed due to guard torches and proximity detectors.
Before getting back to the surface, I decided to try viewing or testing my weapons, and I found this porter fundamentals program where I would get some cool tutorials with a VR technology.
For the first program, I decided to try covert action 1, where I had to make my way to the objective area without being discovered. However, I will fail if I get knocked out, if I die, or if I am discovered by enemies. And the techniques practice would be to remain undetected.
But I was just too fast there that I made noises and an enemy detected me. So it was a game over, and the virtual environment instantly dissolving into a failure screen as the guard raised the alarm.
I decided to try again, and this time, I was not being so fast. As I already understood, it was about patience, keeping flat against the walls and tracking the guard's patrol cone before slipping past.
After passing all the rooms and all the enemies, I made my way to the goal without being detected and finished the mission, stepping into the glowing extraction zone to finalize the successful simulation.
Then I tried covert action 2, where I had to defeat all enemies and make my way to the objective area without being discovered, but I was detected within the first few seconds by a torch holder, as the bright flickering light caught my shadow.
After some failed runs, I found a maser handgun, which is a silenced weapon that I had to use against all those enemies to take them down. But my first try using that handgun was a total chaos as I didn't know how to use one.
I thought I was doing good till I messed up once again as I went too close to the enemy carrying the handgun and his signal detector detected me.
It was another run where I couldn't stay patient, as I already lost in some, which made noise, and that same enemy detected me once more cause his signal detector detected my heavy footsteps.
Which shot was your favorite from today's set? Let me know in the comments. Until the next frame drops, keep exploring. Alpha Gamer, out.
