Simeon called me to his dealership to assign a new repossession job. I met Lamar there, who complained about missing out on the employee of the month award. We drove to La Puerta to retrieve a bike, but an unexpected shootout broke out, where I died for taking the shootout lightly.
I was walking near Vespucci Beach during a quiet night hour when my phone rang. Simeon had been calling me constantly since the last mission, acting completely restless. I finally decided to answer his call.
He asked me to get over to his car shop immediately because he had a new assignment ready for us. I did not want to make him wait, so I grabbed my vehicle and started driving straight toward his dealership.
When I arrived at Simeon's shop, the front entrance was locked, which forced me to walk around to the back door. Inside, Simeon was making a big speech. He called Franklin over to officially name him the employee of the month.
Franklin seemed surprised by the praise, but Lamar was visibly upset. Lamar felt that he deserved the recognition instead and complained loudly about being overlooked. Simeon tried to calm him down by hinting that he might win it next month, but Lamar wanted immediate results.
Simeon then explained our actual assignment for the night. A young guy had bought a motorcycle on credit near Vespucci Beach but failed to make his payments. Our job was to locate the bike and bring it back. Lamar and I grabbed a car from the workshop lot and headed out into the city.
I drove fast through the streets of Los Santos while Lamar kept talking about Simeon and the repossession business.
We soon arrived at an alleyway in the neighborhood known as La Puerta. I followed Lamar over a chain link fence as we began checking the rows of closed garages to locate the vehicle. Some locals drove past us and gave us suspicious looks, but we kept moving forward.
When we opened one of the garage doors, the bike was nowhere to be found. Instead, a group of hostile gang members suddenly confronted us.
Lamar pulled out a pistol and shot one of them, instantly triggering a massive gunfight. Bullets started flying from every direction as we took cover behind nearby walls and cars.
I fought back, but I underestimated how dangerous the situation was and forgot to monitor my health. The gunfire quickly overwhelmed me, and I collapsed before we could secure the bike.
Until the next frame drops, keep exploring. Alpha Gamer, out.
