World Annual Spending On Defence

Some of the worlds biggest players in the world market like the USA have planned to or have already spent £633 billion on their defense, an astonishingly large amount and if you ask me I'm sure at least £100 billion of that could be better spent on education, healthcare, training of the public and professionals just to name a few. But this got me thinking what about the others, the corrupt nations and failed states; how much do they spend?

Well it would turn out that countries such as the Democratic Republic of Congo spend up to £150 million, again far too much if you ask me given their situation. Similarly Bosnia spend £180 million! A small European country surrounded by countries it is not at war with nor is there any conflict surrounding them, so again this could be more adequately placed.

This brings me on the the most surprising one of all.

MANCHESTER CITY FOOTBALL CLUB HAVE SPENT £200 MILLION ON THEIR DEFENSE! You can't win the League playing a 9-0-1 formation. Aguero didn't do anything last season and to be frank nor did Bony. I'm not trying to tell Pep how to do his job but the phrase 'the best form of offence is defense' is only true if you have some sort of offence as well!
