VIBES WEB3 MUSIC COMPETITION WEEK 39 || Nearer My God To Thee || SARAH FLOWER ADAMS (COVER)

Hello, Vibes Community and welcome to my cover for the vibes web3 weekly music competition, the 39th week. I know this is coming in late, but I had some contingencies to contend with. My apologies.

The song i will be rendering is Nearer My God To Thee by Mary Flower Adams. This is one of my best Christian hymns. It was performed in the movie, Titanic and I felt it would be great if I made a cover of it for this competition.

SONG LYRICS

Nearer, my God to thee
Nearer to thee
Even though it be a cross
That raiseth me
Still all my song shall be
Nearer my God to thee
Nearer my God to thee
Nearer to thee

There let the way appear
Steps unto heaven
All that thou sendest me
In mercy given
Angels to beckon me
Nearer my God to thee
Angels to beckon me
Nearer to thee

Or if on joyful wing
Cleaving the sky
Sun, moon, and stars forgot
Upward I fly
Still all my song shall be
Nearer my God to thee
Still all my song shall be
Nearer to thee

I hope you like my presentation. I know it's not top notch I had problems with editing the video and I couldn't add the backing track, please bear with me.

Sol, luna y estrellas olvidados
