Good afternoon fellow Hivers! Hope our Sunday is moving on smoothly. It has been a rainy week down here and we appreciate the Almighty creator for the heavenly blessings in form of rain which he has been extending to us.
These rains ensure that we have green vegetation all year round. It sustains life generally. I can't just imagine life without rain...water. All around my neighbourhood is green courtesy of the rains.
Nevertheless, whatever that has a good side will also have a bad side too. Just like the rains sustain us, it has its adverse effects on us too. For instance, it causes flooding and erosion. This is because whenever the rains become heavy flooding and erosion are bound to occur.
More so, when it floods, some animals are even human beings are displaced from their natural habitats thereby rendering them homeless.
Furthermore, when the rain starts very early in the day it can prevent one from going to work or school or to his/her business; assuming if one does not have a car, umbrella or any other means to escape the rain.
This afternoon however I guessed at the clouds and I realised that even though it looks cloudy it may not rain after all.
