I found a partial solution to that a few years ago. I totally stopped spraying pesticides. Now we get great tits, starlings, jays, sparrows and robins all coming into our garden to eat up all the bugs. It turns out they do a far better job of getting rid of blackfly than any of the chemicals I tried !
