What do you think it should be? I think we should focus on knowledge and recreation to the point that if we can replace a person's job with a machine then we should. However people whose jobs are being replaced by machines shouldn't be left to fend for themselves in a rapidly changing economy. People should be taught to repair and maintain the machines replacing them and humanity should have a work on demand type of relationship with them and a focus on learning something that a machine can't do.
