Schönenwerd have a beautiful park and is also home to the Bally Shoes Museum founded in 1851 by Carl Franz Bally. The park an english landscape garden. Bally thus cleverly combined the necessary relaxation space for a happy worker with the important industrial use of the site. The park was part of a typical industrial landscape of the 19th century, consisting of factories, factory owners' villas, workers' houses, warehouses, social facilities as dining hall and park for a rest.
