Today was another activity-packed day.
It started with a 1-hour, 5,000-step+ walk. Then I worked until about 1 p.m. In the afternoon, my dad took my wife and me to the transmission shop to pick up our van.
We were so elated at having our home back that we decided to do some grocery shopping. First stop, Walmart. My wife didn't like their price on asparagus, so we left without buying anything. We went to HEB and left there without buying anything. My wife just doesn't like shopping in Ennis, Texas.
We went to the Ennis Visitors Center to get some information on a few small towns in the area, then we went to lunch. We arrived back at my parents' house in time to see them off to an event they were going to. Then I did some more work and we headed into Seven Points to do some laundry.
After a little discussion, we decided we would head south tomorrow and walk the historic district of a town near where our daughter and her family live in South Texas. We were planning to spend the weekend with them anyway.
At the end of the day, I logged almost 15,000 steps.
