I know I have been giving you 3 updates on blocktivity (https://www.blocktivity.info) every now and then just to keep everybody current as to what is happening as far as transactions and blockchain bloat are concerned, as well as how much room there is for growth on the blockchains.
Check this out!
I know I wrote a post when EOS broke 10 million transactions. Well, EOS is now pushing 50 million transactions a day and still in the green, meaning that there is a lot of room for growth yet! The beatiful thing about EOS is that it is scalable sideways, meaning that the EOS chain can be cloned to scale the load. If the EOS chain can maybe handle (based on what I am seeing on blocktivity) 300 million transactions a day, all that needs to happen is another EOS chain to go live (there are already a few "sister" chains) to handle the growing demand for fast blockchain transactions. Blockchain is now at a point where it is able to compete with the likes of VISA, interac etc.
WAX is an EOS clone used for gaming that is doing quite a lot of transactions as well.
BTS and Steem are still sitting in the top 5 with a lot of room for growth. Tron is now live and a factor in transactions in the coming year. Watch for them.
I included BTC just to show you what it is capable of and how much room it has to scale up. I think that it is good to hold BTC and it will improve its scalability as time passes... but look at the next generation of blockchains and what it is doing!
I have not heard of KIN, but here is a snap from CMC just to give you a little bit of a lowdown.
