Hello guys, hope all of you are doing good.

The last time was traumatising. The amount of people there actually made me think about returning; if by chance a guy had some symptoms of COVID everyone there would’ve been affected. Also, I went there at 7:30 am. Got vaccinate at 12 pm. A total of 4 hours were wasted in all the waiting and then I vowed to go there at even more early, most likely at 6am.
The first time at DNCC for vaccination

Yesterday, I went to the DNCC for my second dose… at 10:30 pm🤦 by bus.

Also, I had forgotten to take my original copy of the vaccine card and took my photocopied one.

The weather was top-notch though, a little breezy and a bit humid. I landed in Moakhali at around 10pm ish.

Took a rickshaw for the rest of the way and went straight to DNCC hospital.

Heading Inside

I don’t know how but the whole place looked forsaken, empty throughout. For a second I thought that the place was maybe shut but a guard approached and asked me for my purpose. I said that I was there for my vaccine and he pointed inside.

I was glad that there was no line that I had to wait for and took the token number. I had the serial of 24.

I went straight inside the hospital. Again, very less security and zero people.

When I was heading inside a guard stopped me and asked for my vaccine card. I told him the situation and he pointed me toward the person beside the photocopy machine to make a photo copy of my photocopy. I did and got in, inside was also the same. Very few people were there. Also, there were 2 dogs there that entered the hospital, I was surprised to see them inside a clean and fresh environment but the staff there told that these were their pets. Loved the whole thing here!

I waited for a few minutes and my name was called. I went in and got the shot. My photocopy of the original one became my main copy😂. Outside’s view was a bit gloomy, shaded. Very nostalgic for me as it reminded me of the olden days where this was a great time to play…

The back lot was empty as well. Maybe the pressure of the vaccine was subdued in that day where they vaccinated about 1 crore people. This the reduced pressure, the staff inside were on their phones and so were heavily distracted.

I was notified that for the last one I would be notified and it may take up to 6 months…

Nursery Ahead

Just beside the hospital was a nursery. I had to check it out!

There were more plants but I didn’t know their name. In fact I didn’t know most of the flowers’ names, call me flower illiterate.

Then I took another rickshaw and to a gate, I forgot it’s name.

From there I went to a bus-stand and took a bus to home.

That was the end of my vaccine journey for the time.
That it then, see you on the next one
